MACCS Prosopagnosia research features on ABC TV Sleek Geeks

Prosopagnosia (or face blindness) refers to a selective difficulty in recognizing familiar people by their faces.

Our research will be featured on the ABC TV program Sleek Geeks on Thursday (10th January). More about our research on this fascinating condition can be found on our Prosopagnosia Research at MACCS site. If you or any of your family members are experiencing face recognition difficulties, and if you are interested in participating in research, please visit our MACCS Prosopagnosia Register.

Another success: 2008-2010 Macquarie Research Fellowship (MQRF)

Dr Britta Biedermann: Informing spoken word production theories using data from brain impaired speakers. $267,100

This project will look at the representation of number (singular and plural information) and will specify and evaluate theoretical models regarding the cause of grammatical errors in acquired language impairments. The outcome will improve diagnosis and treatment of language impairment in clinical practice.
