Scholarships for International and Australian Students
MACCS provides a focus for undertaking a multidisciplinary PhD from a wide range of backgrounds including Psychology, Linguistics, Speech Pathology, Psychiatry, Clinical Psychology, Philosophy, Audiology, Artificial Intelligence and Experimental Phonetics/Laboratory Phonology. Students interested in completing their PhD program at MACCS can apply for scholarships.

We currently have the following scholarships available – if you are interested and require more information please contact the principal supervisor listed for each scholarship.
There are also Macquarie University Research Excellence Scholarship (MQRES) available which funds both domestic and international Higher Degree Research PhD scholarships.
These PhD scholarships are made available to fund postgraduate PhD students of exceptional research promise as they undertake their postgraduate research in the University's identified concentrations of research excellence. The individual letter of offer will confirm what is included in the offer package, but as a guide successful applicants may receive living and other allowances, and for international students overseas health cover and tuition fees. Domestic applicants would have access to research training scheme (RTS) placement for their tuition funding. Applicants must provide evidence of high Australian first class honours or equivalent research qualifications/background.
